Circa 1984-86 Original Owner
"Great for use with Reel to Reel decks or Cassette Decks. Blows Dolby out of the water! Used in professional recording studios for years. Gets rid of tape hiss. Period! These separate units also sound better and do a better job of noise reduction than the DBX chips built-in to many cassette decks," including many Nak decks.
"Will hook to any quality component system or analog studio deck. Will also accept signals from those rare DBX encoded LP's. Separate Level controls for Tape Recording / Playback and DBX Disc Playback. Dual 15-segment LED level meters for record and playback levels."
"50 / 60 cycles there is a 110V, 120V, 220V & 240V selector for use anywhere in the world! This is a "Made in Japan" version, not Taiwan or China. Measures 17.25" wide x 9" deep x 1.75" (1 rack space) tall and weighs 8 lbs unpacked."
9/10 pretty much mint. Original box, original packing, original manual. If you are lucky enough to own a tape deck or R2R that you record LPs, CDs etc this is for you. I had a Nak Dragon and a 300 years ago that I used in conjuction with this unit. I wish I had the Dragaon back but such is life.
$old ceved. It will be shipped double boxed. Check or money order. I will get the shipping cost after you commit to the purchase and let you the total cost. I beleive I have some really great recordings encoded with this unit, if I can dig them up I'll include them.
It had the cheapy ICs and I trashed them so you are going to need atleast two pair.
Email me through the User CP.
In a post below is a link that will take you to an ebay auction of the same item, it sold for $164.50!

I have one for my reel to reel recorder. Highly Recommended.SRT For Life; SDA Forever!
The SRT SEISMIC System:
Four main satellite speakers, six powered subs, two dedicated for LFE channel, two center speakers for over/under screen placement and three Control Centers. Amaze your friends, terrorize your neighbors, seize the audio bragging rights for your state. Go ahead, buy it; you only go around once. -

I was and had really souped up Teac back in the day. I used record to that and the Nak Dragon at the same time and get rid of any LP surface noise before going to tape. Plus I had a mixer/120 band equalizer boot. I did my own remix of DSOTM on both R2R and cassette. My buddy, the guy that kept my turntable in storage for me all these years, still has the cassette of that remix and still tells me from time to time it is the best rendition of DSOTM he has ever heard. I don't know about that but it was definetely fun doing it.
I loved that R2R. That's another item I wished I never gave up. . . . -

It's not it just gives you more control. -
I have the same model that I use in line with my Sony TC-WR99ES c-deck. This is a good piece to have if you record your own stuff.>

I'd hold onto it. Sure enough someone around here will soon get the R2R or cassette recording bug and need one.
