Help! Can I Bi-Amp RTi-12's w/ a Sony 3200 ES???

I just purchased a pair of RTi-12s, a Velodyne DPS-12, which will be run two-channel (for now) by my new Sony ES 3200 (120 x 7) Receiver. I've been out of the A/V side of things for a quite a while, so I need to call on other Polk-o-phites out there for a little help and advice!
My question is, can I use two-channels of unused power from this same Sony ES Receiver (either the Zone 2 channels or two unused channels from the surrounds) to BI-AMP my RTi-12s???
I have read many of the reviews here on the Polk website from users, that these RTi-12s really need the power to "sing." So, I figured that since I am starting two-channel on a SEVEN-channel receiver, that someone might know how I can BI-AMP these puppies using the unused power that I have (without buying another amp right now).
If anyone has any ideas or thoughts on if this can work, and how, or if it will NOT work, please let me know, thanks!

Welcome to Club Polk. I have no idea if the Sony has that capability. Hopefully someone can help you out here.
BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

To bi amp properly you will need separate amplifiers to do so and that sony can't be used for that,
but what most do is get an external power amp to drive the speakers properly with at least 150 watts per channel to make those speakers crank. My gear,
Acer PH530 720P PJ
100 inch Da-Lite Video Spectra screen
Yamaha HTR 5790
Toshiba HD-A3
Denon 1600 dvd player with sdi out,
DVDO iSCAN HD+
Panasonic Dmr E-80H
Dishnetwork HD pvr
1 Audiosource amp300 150 wpc Fronts
1 Audiosource ampone bridged 200 watts powering center
1 Onkyo M-282 105 wpc amplifier sides
polk cs400 center
polk RT400 mains
Polk mkII back surrounds,
Polk FX300fxi dipole surrounds
Velodyne DPS-10 sub
Klipsch KSW-10 sub. -
Thanks for the clarification!!! Okay, one more question for you then, since you seem familiar:
Can I use the Sony for one portion of the Bi-wire, and buy only one other two-channel amp??? I'm just trying to get the most bang for the buck, and didn't really want to spend the dinero right now.
Your thoughts? -
If you want to just biamp the 12s look into a stereo amp or a use the outlaws monoblocks, they are great amps. I have a 7100es sony AVR. Just go from the preouts of the AVR into the power amp, top set of speaker post to the AVR front left/right, bottom set of speaker posts to your power amp(s). AND MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE THE METAL JUMPERS!!!! and youre all set.
AND NO I WOULDNT BIAMP THE 12s off the AVR, just reread your post.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!
