There is a set of grills on ebay that say they are 10a. They have the polk audio logo on the bottom right corner of the grill. The info I have is the 10a have no polk logo the 10b do. Will these fit my 10b? Are they interchangeable if they are a's ? My speakers were made in 1988 I think. 1988 is stamped on the magnets of the woofer drivers 6503s. The cabinets are real oak with beveled fronts. Will these grills work for me?

Ask the seller to provide measurements for you. You may have to get new mounting hardware. Call customer service, and ask for Ken. He knows vintage Polk's about as well as anyone.
Good luck with your hunt
BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

The old parts list has Monitor 10a and Monitor 10b grilles with different part numbers. I've never had the two in hand personally but other members have said that they are different.

Here are my 10b grilles measured edge to edge:
27 3/8" height
15 1/4" width
Inside mounting holes measured center to center:
24 3/4" height
12 11/16" width
There's a pair of grilles on the bay that look about right. A couple of times a year Monitor 10b grilles show up for $10-$15 a pair plus $10-$15 shipping. Ask the seller to compare measurements with what I listed and what shipping will cost for both. It shouldn't cost you more than $15 to ship the pair.

Thanks polk65 thats just the info I was looking for. Your numbers match up perfecly with my speakers. The seller on ebay has them listed at 28x15 3/4 the outside dia. of the speaker boxes. They might not fit my speakers.
