I have had soo much trouble with my amps, 3 new Adcoms that where clicking & buzzing all sent back. Onecall said that they checked them & they where fine. Could my problem be the balanced cables? When I first hooked everything up with xlr cables is when the problem started, so I used the rcas & it still did it. Thats the only thing I could think of is the cables! They are Bettercables I called them & they said they had never heard of the cables causing that kind of a problem with amps, but they said to send them back for x-change. What do all of you all think!!! Ive got a Outlaw amp & Im affraid to use the xlr cables, i should send them back. thanks

I have read on the Outlaw Audio website of other people having problems with popping or clicking... you may want to move from the balanced cables to unbalanced.. some people have reported that helped solve their problem.

good luck.. but also post your question in the Outlaw Audio forum as well.

Thanks,Ive not hooked-up the Outlaw 990 & 7700 yet.My problem was with 3 different Adcom ampps 1 gfa-7807 & 2 7805,but I had a Adcom pre-pro that I returned with the amps. When I used the balanced input & got the clicks & bad buzz I unhooked the balanced & used rca & it still did it!I guess I should return the balanced cables for new ones, thats the only thing I can think of that could have caused the problem. But the 3 Adcoms could have been bad, thats kinda of strange!!

did you purchase the Adcom pre and amps locally? if so... and you still have them.. take them back to where you purchased them... and set up the pre and amp with their techs.. and see if you get the same results..

I wonder if it's also a wiring problem in your house??? Prob not, but not out of the question either I guess.

I sent all Adcoms back to Onecall,I checked the house wiring after the 1 st problem,Im a 1/2 a$$ electrician but I called a real one to make sure.I even turned off everything in my house to see if that was the problem.I even unhooked everything to the amp but the spks & it still clicked on off & then buzzed,it sounds like the xlr cables where bad & caused the problems or a bad product line from adcom! thanks
