So I am thinking about taking the plunge on the new PC to see what kind of hardware errors I can come up with. My question is this, I definately want the Media Center stuff so its either Home Premium or Ultimate.....

What do you guys recommend? Ultimate is significantly more money, but is the Shadowcopy, PC restore, and other features worth it?

What do you guys think......and I will be using a 12% off best buy coupon and $50 in gift cards.

Home Premium is $160 and Ultimate is $260.

    Ultimate. Duh. It's always better.

    What's 'Vista', again?

Simple question. If you had a cool million bucks, what would you do with it?

Most new PC's are coming with Vista. I have a friend that just bought an EMachine and he can't get anything to download (programs and such). I gave him a 3in1 Lexmark printer and Vista won't even recognize it. And no drivers available. He might return the computer.

I sell Dells and I fired one up recently and it balked at it's own factory installed audio driver... yeah, I'm holding off.
