Hey guys....you have been more than helpful....
I know I might get some crits here about this but what the hell... i have been thought to act and be wrong and then ask for forgivness rather than ask for permision...Architecture School (dont ask). Anyway, I'm in a search of a new set of speakers but this time its for my bedroom. My space is very limited....and i mean very limited. So I'm gonna have to go with sats....i have my old yamaha receiver somewhere around so all i need is speakers.....now, my budget: I'm a poor college student...so, $150-200. Im not going to play it very loud... :) so here...this is what i was thinking. I get 3 pairs of these and get it overwith. They look very stylish, i remember seeing the complete system at ABTelectronics.com (i saw it in-store) but the price was somewhat rediculous! Let me know what you think...

I would look for a used set of EPOS ELS-3's for around $200. They are mini-monitors and sound incredible. The Polk R15's are pretty small also and sound decent. If you could find a pair of used Rti28's they are small and sound great.

Polk R15 - $50 black pair on Frys

I use a pair as surrounds, but they don't sound too bad for mains considering their size.

This is going to be for surround sound...only. I live in a condo and bedrooms are back to back....this wont be played loud at all. My first thought was the R15s or R150s but they are not that atractive to me. Maybe RM series?

RM series are really outside your budget, unless you find a very good deal on a used set.

Where are you located? I have a like new set of Klipsch Synergy Quintet II (4 sats and a center) I am not using I could part with. Look them up here.

Circuit City had R15's for about $22/pair a little bit ago.

That must have been a final clearance - I only saw the new M10's in my local CC the other day. The M10 actually looks much better (IMHO at least) than the R15/150. Maybe critical_gp can get a deal on a set of those instead?
