Hk Direct
How are the products from the HK direct store? They are refurbished so has anyone ever had anything wrong with them? any cosmetic scratches or anything?

got my 7300 from them and the first two refurbs had issues. but they paid shipping and made it right. let's just say, i got a brand new one out of the deal. refurbs are a risk sometimes, but h/k stands behind their warranty!

I've had 2 235s, the first one crapped out after a year, they sent me another one at no charge. No cosmetic issues whatsoever.

I'm in the same boat as BIZILL. Went refurb, had a few problems, but at the end of the day (and a couple of trips to UPS) we got it worked out.Do you hear that buzzing noise?

Just got my 435 refurb from HK Direct on Ebay tonight. Looks great cosmetically. Beautiful piece of equipment. No speakers yet so will have to wait a bit to test her out.
For me, the HK refurb is a great way to save a lot of cash for a great AVR. If you have problems, their customer service is great and you have a full warranty. -
Bizill, I almost purchased that behemoth!! I decided to go with seperates instead.. Just wondering what your thoughts were on the AVR..
