Sound and video misaligned

I have a problem that I can't seem to figure out and it's buggin the hell outta me.
If I'm watching a video clip, be it YouTube, websites, or whatever, 99% of the time the audio track is running a few seconds behind the video. I've tried different browsers, players, etc and nothing seems to work.
Have any of y'all had that happen and if so, how do you fix it? I can't believe that most of the video's I've seen just so happen to be screwed up.......

Someone posted about a similar problem awhile ago. Maybe it's an old codec problem? I've used K-lite "standard version" for several years after every windows installation and had no problems. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm

It's YouTube. There's nothing you can do about it.
