Beer and re-wiring the HT.

Sometimes it's not a good idea to drink beer and re-wire your HT rig.

I had just finished up glass number 5 of some nice, very nice Steelhead IPA (I bought a 1 gallon growler. 'On tap' at home, nothing better). While refilling number 6 I decide to put my cable management skills into practice. Not a good idea.

Couple hours later, everything is looking nice and organized (I also got my dusting on) when I decided to sit back and enjoy a little Lord of the Rings.

About a half hour in I'm thinking to myself, "self, something just sounds, well, wrong". I figured, it's just the beer. So, I shut down the rig for a little sit out side in the sun time. Enter the Green Room an hour later for some 2-channel Enya. Flip the switch and wammo! I've got left main operational and the surrounds. What the F is going on here. I'm thinking the worst, my stereo switch on the receiver is Fried.

Well, after looking into things a bit more. Buzz Ron switched the interconnects of the right main and surrounds.

Needless to say, things sound better now. I'm only sharing this because I've had way too much Arrogant **** Ale on tap from the local Compass Creek brew pub for lunch with the boss.

Good night. BAM! Forehead hits desk.......

Peace Out~:D
