MSXML 4.0 SP2 look up all your updates and take some of them off IMHO not all of them are needed I mean really. I run nortons , partitioned real good , and I have no problems if I do I simply will reinstall windows and some related software. Its a good thing to seperate your hard drive at least 10 to 15 gb for windows xp and all the damn updates . I run a 2.4 giga hertz processor when I click I expect it to happen right now..... not in a second. I have my drive partitioned into 5 partitions. I run my Nortons ( which to some is not the best) but I have no quams with it. Take a look at all your updates and simply uninstall back past that previously mentioned and turn off updates for a lil while you might have something software wise msxml doesnt like at all. there are hmmm several things that interact with windows(nortons one of them) thats can cause problems. anytime you update make sure you have a restore point and if it act weird backup to the last restore point. pretty simple ( sometime you dont think that though) let me know Im sure we can get your trouble worked out.
