From my personal collection.....
If you are wanting to get into SERIOUS hifi at a decent price, here you go.
This is a fantastic sounding unit, mates well with SDA. The bass of this amp is the stuff legends are made of. This amp has balls, and I have no doubt that you could use it to jump start a Buick.
Read my writeup on this unit here: http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48955&highlight=krell
The unit itself is flawless. 9/10. Comes with original box/packaging/manual/remote.
Okay, here is the deal. I'm going to be out of pocket from Tuesday until 1 March....I hesitated about waiting to post until after I get back but I figured that I'd just let it ride if nobody showed interest in the next couple days.
I'll snap pics tommorow if need be.
EDIT: My price is 1025 shipped; to your door.

Hi Troy! Like I mentioned in you thread earlier this week, I have a friend who is very interested in the 400 xi. If I had a little more data or photo's to feed him, I am glad to help you with the sale. Thanks!Carl

Again, I'm not in any way dissatisfied with it either functionally or in terms of sound. The reason I'm selling is simple. I'm moving back to tubes for the SDA rig, plus I've got a couple other irons in the fire.
Also, another nifty cool feature, for those looking to go 2ch and HT is the HT bypass input, it bypasses the preamp section allowing you to incorporate it as an amp in a surround rig. Cool, eh?I plan for the future. - F1Nut -
This is so tempting, but death by angry mob of apartment neighbors is scaryReceiver - Onkyo HT-R340
Front - Pioneer S-HF21
Center -Onkyo SKC-340C
Surround Back - Polk R15 <--Ticket to club polk
Subwoofer - Onkyo SKW-340 -

Simple, invite them to the party, heck of deal here.

No need to incite an angry mob. One of the cool things about the Krell is that it's sound quality at low levels is just as fantastic as at high levels.

That Krell IA just means business, no friendly handshake, just a kick in the nuts.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

One and only price drop....I'll also include a PS Audio power cord, so you can enter the great power cord debate.

One more bump....I'll be back in a couple days, if nobody is interested here, off to the 'gon.
Because I'm in a good mood, I'll drop the price to 1025 shipped...

yeah! the package arrived this morning with only a few small dings but the unit itself looks to have escaped any injury. i had only seen 300i's installed in racks, handling it gives a different sense of the feel and proportions. i like it.
the connections are made and even though it wasn't all that cold here last night, i'm still going to give it a little longer to warm up before i make the last connection to the wall.
it looks great troy! thanks much!

Awesome.
Let me know once you get it warmed up that everything is up to snuff.

i sampled a few cd's. everything works aok and it's making beautiful music as i'm keying this. my wife's heading out of town tomorrow, so i won't have to wait to spend some quality time with it.
you can put another notch in your mission board and i'll get a fan mail out to shack for you. my thanks again.
