Outer Diameter for Polk dB 12

I am waiting for my six Polk dB 12's to get here and I wanna start cutting rings for my fiberglass enclosure. Does anyone have a dB 12 that they can measure the outermost diameter. I don't want to assume that it's 12" since most 12's are around 12.5". Thanks in advance.

why exactly did you need 6???
You should be able to get the specs on the size from the manual which should be downloadable from the subwoofer section of the website.MacLeod: I guess youre lucky Polk has such lax hiring standards.
Josh: Damn skippy! -
Why doesnt everyone need 6 subwoofers??
When I went and saw the PDF of the manual I didnt see anything on the outside diameter. Your best bet would be to call/email Polk. They have fantastic customer service. That, or wait til they get there and measure them yourself.

The reason I chose to use six subs primarily is to be more efficient with my available power. My current sub is an Arc Audio Flatline 12 and it's not very clean at higher volumes nor is it loud enough at lower volumes. In my opinion the car audio community has put too much emphasis on superwoofers that can't quite do the job of multiple cheaper woofers. I believe that this applies to SQL and SPL mostly since for pure SQ you really don't need alot of loudness, just a more even fill on the low end across the subwoofer's duty range. And hey, it's just plain fun to have six 12's in a car...lol
Cody-I looked at the manual also, but didn't see external dimensions...weird, huh? Funny part is that I went to check the mail today and somehow the subs made it from SoundDomain's warehouse to my APO box to where my wife is stationed here in Germany...lol. I have six silver beauties waiting for some MDF to be cut and some fiberglass to be started. I am excited! I believe that six 12's with 150 watts RMS each will make some noise, especially with the uncanney efficiency I have experienced with Polk Subs in the past. -
Are these the old scholl db12's or the newer db2124's?

They are the new dB subs. I am quite impressed with the build quality of them for such an inexpensive subwoofer. I am also glad that they are relatively light since six could have been really heavy, but these are gonna work well for me.

I forgot to add for anyone's future reference that the outer diameter is 12.375"
