Yep, not bad, especially for an early blu-ray release. As far as war movies, there's a lot out there. But I haven't seen most of them. Here's a link to reviews:

But I think that BHD is hard to beat at this point for the PQ, SQ, and storyline/acting combo. Definitely a reference disk. Another early title to check out is Underworld: Evolution. Kate, Leather, and Vampires. And you still get machine guns...;)

I would agree completly on BHD one of the best I've seen so far on BD but I watched Underworld last night and I was not that impressed with the PQ, I know it is supposed to be a tier 1 film and I'm not saying it looked bad but no where near as good as Black Hawk Down, Kingdom of Heaven, MI3, or many other in the tier 1 ranking.

I believe he is referencing this "Tier" rating to a thread over at the AVSforum.

Tier 0, being flawless and on down the line...

    Here it is: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=753726

Just picked up Underworld:Evolution on Ebay. Can't wait to check it out. I found a seller with Blu-Rays at $21.98 in the door -BIN. Not bad at all. The blu-ray PS3 bluetooth remote works awesome.

Definitely a great looking title. I still have yet to sit down and actually watch the whole movie but from the random scenes I checked out it looked phenomenal.

Before BB ran out of stock on BHD last month, you could get BHD and Underworld: E off their buy one get one free list. Hard to beat that...

hey cheddar thanks for the link, I'll put it in my favs folder. Kingdom of Heaven was a very goold film as well. Ice Age 2 was nicely done, definitely a 3d look to it while viewing. Oh by the way millerman, nice system you have, somewhat identical to mine with toys. I have Mi3 on HD DVD, anyone here compare the two formats with this title? Hey mutelight I checked your links nice gear you have also, be careful with those Wii-motes, heard allot of horror stories. By the way what kind of camera gear are you using, I just picked up a sony a-100 about 2 months ago.
