Another gem, practically NIB but I played with it for a week.

Antique Sound Lab HB1 - Hybrid Headphone Amplifier - 9/10 - Black - *SOLD* to DKG999

If you ever wanted to try out a head-amp, this would be the perfect time. Easy in, easy out and tubes. This even gives you a seperate power supply so you can't complain about transformer hum and interference. It's boxed, ready to go and the exact item as in the linked photo. Just read the goodness in this piece of gear....

100-percent pure 'Class A' operation
Point-to-point wiring throughout
Custom designed and manufactured power supply
Accommodates one pair of headphones
Tube complement: 6BQ5 x 2
Fuse 1A: Slow blow
Chassis: Finished metal with black powder paint

Output power (feedback): 15 mW on 32 Ohm Headphone
Frequency response (at 1V): 15 Hz - 100 kHz -1 db
Frequency response (at full power): 15 Hz - 100 kHz -1db
Distortion: <1%
S/N Ratio: 78 dB
Input impedance: 100 K
Power request: 30 W
Input sensitivity: 1V

Yes, it will drive AKG, Grado and Sennheiser headphones. There is nothing like some tube warmth in a can.

Includes: Original everything.

ASLHB1190
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

dkg, if you close escrow on this, email me your addy, and I'll send a duet of something nice in the EL84 / 6BQ5 / 7189 category to get your started on the right foot.

    Why, because I can.

Russ - I appreciate that very much! I'll be closing escrow on this as soon as Dorokusai let's me know which transactional method he prefers! Something tells me my Grado SR-225's are going to a whole new level
