I have one of the finest hand crafted tube preamps in its class for sale. This incredible unit will shock you when listening to your favorite music for the first time!
If you are looking for well build, quality component and superb sonic in a tube preamp and dont cost you a fortune, look no further.
The remarkably detailed audio reproduction and smoothness of the Soundstage Vacuum Two Class A Tube Preamp is holding a high platform in todays audio competition. Distinct transparency and huge soundstage is complimented by two JAN 6922 Philips NOS/NIB tubes, which are included in the package as an upgrade (compare the value: US $39.90 + US 9.95 shipping) at thetubestore.com. If you are an avid tube roller and audiophile this is a preamp for you.
I paired this preamp with a Parasaund HCA-1500A solid state (205 wpc at 8ohms) amp, using my tube CD player as a source. The combo is absolute heaven! There is no brightness or fatigue apparent with PolkAudio Lsi15s speakers.
Interested Toronto and GTA area audiophiles are welcome to audition.

Sorry... what is the unit's gain specs?I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I forgot mansion to you guys. This fantastic preamp has two (2) preouts. One may be used for powered subwoofer out. The bass reproduce through this preamp is "bubbly" and smooth. No muddiness whatsoever!!

Hey Russman,
Have you heard this premp? It beats my ASL AQ1003 DT in SQ. My jaw dropped when I was listening to it. I bought a few units and I have only 4 left.
This last weekend I have auditioned the Soundstage "Stage One" tube integrated amp and the SQ out of this one is excellent too.
Cheers

Russ,
I hooked this pre on my B&K and also on my Parasound HCA 1500 and Lsi15's. The unit needs about 20 hours to break in and after that the sound is out of this world! I used 2 Mullard's 12AU7's on the pre and I almost sh_T my pants. By changing the tubes you can customized your audio preference needs to your liking. It takes 1 minute to change the tubes and WOW!!!
I wish Polk members could hear this baby sing. I paired it with my Rti8's yesterday and I think I like it better that with the 15's. The 8's were smoother and filled my room with rich clear vocals. I played Diana Kroll and my wife is absolutely amazed.
For the price this brand new in box pre is absolute GEM.
Cheers

They fit fine, you just bend a few pins off to the side....didn't you know that RussCTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Adcom GFA 545 II is an excellent amplifier. At 100 x 2 at 8 ohms and 150 x 2 at 4 ohms would be more thank enough to fill average room. My room is 14’x 20’ and it sound awesome. Also, as I said the amp sound smoother with Rti series than with Lsi’s. Vocals are vibrant and bass is tight and extended. I mean extended! With option of rolling tubes this preamp has no limit for this price.
Put some Mullard's in Amprex or telefunken tubes and you will see what this baby can do! Lot of guys spend big $$ for tube gear not thinking to spend $100.00 on a good pair of Telefunken's and your system would sounds like $1500.00 SS preamp.
As a Polk member if you like I could hold one for you and send it your way in couple of weeks. I’m certain you will sh_t you pants when you hear this preamp. I’ve been on this forum for a while and try out a lot of gear and spend thousands of $$ and if I would know about how little $$ one can spend to get SQ I would of built my system differently.
Anyway, let me know WODOM1

This pre is ballistic. You should hear the Soundstage One integrated amp. It will nock your socks off. As I said I don't play my $1200.00 ASL AQ1003 DT anymore. The ASL is just too muddy and there is no detail as the Soundstage has.
These are pics of the "Soundstage One". 25 wpc 12Au7's tubes and what a beast. The Rti8's are absolutely awesome on this one......WOW!!

Then why do it? Knocking someone's sale item is not cool. -

Hey your comments are more than welcome. Opinions are good man!! This is how we learn.
I have read many reviews on this product and so-called "brightness" is not the case at all. People who write these reviews on any audio product for that matter are auditioning these units with limited IC cables, speaker cables and variety of amps. I have auditioned with variety of cables and IC and variety of amps and the conclusion of 4 audiophiles (my friends and some Polk members) is that this pre is absolutely fantastic and there is no "brightness" and or fatigue whatsoever when properly matched with IC, speaker cables, amps and of course speakers themselves. With the option of rolling NOS tubes the SQ is endless!!
As you see this is not only my opinion. I enjoy experiencing and after all this is what this is all about!! You have to listen to these preamps to appreciate the SQ. I did listen to them extensively. These are fantastic for RTi8's and most members here think 8's are BRIGHT!!..........

There is no reason why a second opinion can't be given. It would be very helpful if the review could be referrenced so everyone could read it and make an assesment. There is no component that every one likes all the time.
Gator 3000 that was an excellent response also. You appear to a straight guy. Why not offer money back if the people don't like it?
When I sell components on ebay that is my offer, money back in one week if not satisfied, buyer pays shipping. I always feel very comfortable when I buy things on Ebay with this return policy. I could be wrong. -

Hey bike,
"Money back in one week if not satisfied, buyer pays shipping" is cool. Also, I offer to Toronto area Polk members to come to my home in person and audition these units with Lsi15 and Rti8s. I like this product and value for the money in its class of preamp.

I just sent payment for one of these preamps after chating back and forth with Gator. I'll give a review when it arrives, but I am hopeful. I will be interested if it gives warmth to my B&Ws. (which everyone knows warmth isn't their strong point)

Not a knock on your gear, but when is someone in China going to "proof" the spelling of the silkscreens on the gear destined for the US market?
"Pro" outputs? How hard is it to get anyone to check these things out? More times than not when I see Chinese gear, they make a mistake somewhere on it.
