advice on surrounds?
Hi, finally picked up some new/used speakers to replace 20+ year old inferior ones. rt35i front, csi30 center, psw250 sub, What a difference! I need, or want, surrounds also. I was figuring rt25i's. What do you guys think? I'm new to polk, and have done some research, but would appreciate any suggestions. I posted a wanted add, but not surprisingly, haven't had any responses yet. The 25i's seem a bit tough to come by now, alot of competition when they show up on ebay. How important is matching the rear surrounds? Could I just pick up some cheap r15's and get the job done?
Any other suggestions or should I hold out for some 25i's? Thanks in advance.

Although the r series would "get the job done" it may not be ideal. It's best to have the same series of speakers all around. Patience, Rome wasn't built in 1 day. You could just use what you have for now, even use your old speakers as rears till you can get the ones you really want. Otherwise you'd be second guessing yourself "should I have gone with the same series".
It's not set in stone you do get timbre matching speakers all around, heck I even went that route at first. -
Cool, what about r15i's vs 25i's for surrounds, is there much difference?

There is a set of RT25i's on ebay right now, and a pair of RT25's. Just search "polk" and scroll through. I think both sets might be mislabled."People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf." George Orwell
