I'm tempted by the preamp to match the Aragon. How does it sound? Bright, laid back, neutral?

Sami--the pre/pro leans more to the neutral side IMO, it has a very powerful platform of user modes,more than I need/use.

The Mondial designs Acurus Pre/pro is a very versatile processor with a plethora of presets and user defined modes as well. It may well be the LAST processor that you buy for home theater.

If that is the Act 3 I had then it can't have very many hours on it. I think I only used it a couple times before going hard core 2 channel and selling it. I bet I never even watched a full movie with it. Quality piece though.

thats what i thought, heck in converted to CAD thats cheap if he were near me withing 2-3hrs I would have bought them. I could have sold them here for almost 2x that amount and it would still be a great deal (they run about 999$cad)
