Currently i have

LSi9's Powered by a Outlaw 750 Amp
LSiC - Shipped yesterday should be here next week.
SVS PB 12 Plus/2

Now i am debating on wether to get Polk LSi15's and move my fronts to the back.

Or get LSi9's, or LSi7's or LSiFx's for the back.

They way i have my HT setup the rear speakers would have to be on the side's of the people sitting in the back. They cannot be placed behind the viewer.

I will later on down the road upgrade my AMP to a more powerful amp, but not any time soon.

Any suggestions are welcome, thanks.

I'm a fan of big speakers, but I like the LSi9's svs combo. In that system I would get another set of the 9's. BTW where in miami are you?

    enjoy

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

LSI 15, as you move towards music they will be there for you, full range speakers are where its at. For HT, not going to matter much what your fronts are, I suppose the 9's on the fronts and the FX on the sides.

ben62670 I live very close to University of Miami off of Miller drive.
Graduated a little over 2 years ago from there.

My main usage for the system is 50% HT, 30% gaming, 20% music...

    The LSi15's are 1200 vs
    LSI9's which are 700 + stands(100ish minimum)
LSI FX's are in the 700 ball park as well. + stands(100ish minimum)

So for 400 dollar's extra, i can have a better speaker for music, not have to deal with stands.

Or i could save the 400 and put it towards the new amp or other things.

This upgrade depends on how big of a return on my taxes i get and also on my companies profit sharing bonus from last year(will receive in March).

Looking at your room layout, I would go with the LSiFX. Not having any room behind the seating area wouldn't be a good fit for another pair of 9's. My opinion only.

    That would be my suggestion.

If you are able, try moving the LSi9's out into the room beyond the front of the monitor. This may give you better sound when listening.

Surrounds should be on the wall, well above the listeners ears. I would try to place them that way if at all possible. My advice for surrounds would be a pair of 7's.
