Honestly, your NAD is pumping out around 185 wpc at 4 ohms... not exactly a slacker.

That should help ya. Also, do a search on the forums: there are plenty of posts and threads concerning powering the LSi series.

I would buy used amp from Audiogon, one of the BAT would do nicely for your setup, for 2G you might need to watch and wait a bit though.

If you are looking to go to the next level, some other companies to consider would be:

    Muscial Fidelity
    Cary
    Classe
    Plinius
    Edge
    VTL
    Conrad Johnson

I asked this on audioreview, got no (so far) response as asked for.I got a response which was nice, but not specifically as I had requested.Question,if you have Lsi 15,pair,for 2 channel listening, and you have found an amp that you are really satisfied with, please name it.I am currently using a NADc372,which is rather good to my ears, but I want more wpc, better damping factor I suppose, etcetera.I really need to limit price at 2k.From what I understand a neutral to slightly bright sounding amp will help the Lsi15 best. Thanks for your info.

Check out Van Alstine gear. Superb sounding gear at down to earth prices. Frank's been in business over 35 years. That says a lot about his commitment to excellence. Without an excellent product & customer service you don't make it very long in this business.

I would highly recommend the Simaudio W-5. This should be the last amp you get for a very long time. There is one on Audiogon.

I have the W-3. I used it with LSi9's and Dynaudio Contour S1.4. My current speakers are Dynaudio Confidence C1. I have no plans on changing amps and do not even look anymore.

Monarchy Audio SM70's should be considered
Musical Fidelity gives a great "slam" when needed

As I keep preaching, quality power is far more important than quantity power on the LSi's.

Put me in the Classe camp....

I also have a Krell integrated that I like and think would be a good match with LSi.

Perhaps you'd be better advised to look at upgrading your source before an amplifier...I found the most dramatic difference in bass "slam" and dynamic's came from a source upgrade rather then an amplifier upgrade.

Carver tfm-75 maybe.... You wouldnt have to spend all that and go get an awesome pre-amp Krell evolution ?

To possibly save you some money...

I just "downgraded" from a Sunfire Signature 600x2 to a PS Audio HCA-2 to free up some cash. This is my second time owning the PS Audio, actutally - I sold it the first time to upgrade to the Sunfire :P

I'm a big fan of the unit and I think it's an amazing deal for the $700 used it goes for on audiogon. Runs very cool too, which is a nice bonus. During the first gig I used the HCA2 with Polk LSi9's and it was a significant upgrade from the Outlaw M200 monoblocks I'd been using (which themselves were a nice upgrade over the Denon AVR-3805 before it). The HCA2 also does an amazing job driving the 4ohm Legacy Signature III's.

In fact, comparing the HCA2 to the $4K retail Sunfire on the Legacy's (the Sunfire can put 1200 Watts/ch into a 4 ohm load BTW) - I definitely can't say the Sunfire is better. It's just different strokes for different folks. The HCA2 is more liquid, smooth & musical (that's just relative to the Sunfire though, I wouldn't call it dark) but still very very clean sounding. The Sunfire's sound is colder, more analytical and yes brighter. Now the LSi9, LSi15 (which I also used to own), and Legacy are all warm, smooth, laid-back speakers so many people would say to pair them up with the Sunfire to achieve balance. Now that's not bad advice, BUT personally I prefer to pair up like-sounding components. I'd rather reinforce strengths than counterbalance components' attributes. That's the way I roll synergy wise. So, to my delight, I'm actually preferring the cheaper HCA2 with my current speaks. Nine times out of 10 prefer a warmer smoother sound so I guess it shouldn't be a big surprise for me anymore.

So if I were you I'd either get a HCA2 for $700 and save the rest of the $2000 for other cool toys, OR get 2 HCA2's and bi-amp those suckers! I might consider a biamp setup when my cash inflow/outflow has balanced out :D

Now, if I really had $2K just to blow on an amp, the ones I'm most interested in are Sugden's MusicMaster and A21SE, both single-ended pure class A, but at 15 Watts and 35 Watts it might not work with LSi :D
