Best Wire (Again)

Which is the best wire to use for hook ups? Solid conductor, stranded and twisted tightly at hook up terminals, or stranded and tightly twisted with ends soldered at hook up terminals?

Which wire ends are best to use without using banana plugs or spade lugs? Which wire iends are best to use with banana plugs and which is best to use with spade lugs.

I'm just curious seeing as how with every connection (and/or splice) in a wire run (between the two connections) has the possibility of degradtion of conductance or signal.
Be gentle, I'm new to all this...

    Im using 2-pair of Knukonceptz 10ga (bi-amp)with single bannana plugs. stranded copper and twisted slightly. Then use a conductor enhancer or dielectric grease to ward off corrosion. and tighten the connection up with the screwdriver....and play loudly

    but thats just me there are alot of good wires out there ......
