New quiet 360 drive. Doesn't help anyone out that already bought the 360, but when mine dies again, hopefully I can replace it with one with the new drive.

Step One: Buy now at Costco.

Step Two: Exchange when no longer "satisfied" with purchase.

I might sell my current 360 to a friend when the new one with this drive and the HDMI comes out.

Has it been confirmed that it will have HDMI? I think they would be stupid not to since the competition has it.

Lol, even the article says that when you buy your next 360, it'll be quieter.

...Next 360? I laid out my cash to buy what I thought was the latest and greatest. No double dipping for me. They can come out with an HDMI compatible internal hd-dvd player with no noise fanless cooling and all I'm going to do is keep turning up the sound on my 360 games and watching movies on my ps3...

true..but you have to jump in the river sooner or later:D

kinda like buying a Hi-def tv...the longer I wait, the better value I will get...but there will always be something better on the horizon, so I could end up waiting forever
