Visit Casa de McGowan to pick up a pair of GIGANTIC speakers!

Leaving shortly to start the 5 hour trek in 12 degree weather to pick up a pair of Carver Amazings from BobMcG. Camera is in tow. Should be back with some pictures of the elusive BobMcG in about 12-15 hours. Wish it could be faster but sadly, even a Lightning is limited by speed limits. Especially when you have to slow down for the tolls! :(

    Went to Bob's visited for a few hours, loaded teh speakers and got back to my front door in about 12 hours and 20 minutes.

    Not a record by any stretch but it was a good trip and got to put a face and a handshake with a name of a real cool dude! Bob was awesome and we had a great time. I think he even got my friend Matt hooked on this insane hobby.

    The CA's are in a nice new home where they will be treated well and have a nice long life!

    Pictures will come when Matt gets them to me. He was snapping the pcitures. Since it was about a whopping 8-9 degrees at Bob's house with a windchill in negative digits, my camera froze up and I couldn't take any shots.

    That's a lot of time to devote to getting some speakers....but I'm sure it was worth it.
