I am looking for some front speakers for a 5.1 surround sound system. I have a receiver that is 100w per channel, cs1 center channel, and a psw12 sub. I have looked at the monitor 60's and like them but I am probably going to need an amp to make them sound really good. Any suggestions would be appreciated

I have a sony str-de897. I would like to keep that for a while, but am open for suggestions. I have looked at the monitor 60s and 70s. I like them both but I know that I need more power to run either. I am not sure if the 70's and the sub will be too much bass. This would be mainly for movies, but play music also.

Man, there is no such thing as too much bass :) The 60s and the 70s should work just fine with the PSW12 however i have noticed that most members here would prefer the M60s for whatever reason. I have the M60s matched with a PSW10 sub and they do the job for now!
