I like Norah's latest albulm. Most new CD's will have one or two songs that I like a lot and the rest have to grow on me. But with this lastest one from Norah Jones, I immediately liked all of them.

I really like the intimacy of the recording itself. To me, it feels like you are right in the room with the musicians.

It is a little "darker" than her previous work. I really love the song about "We're gonna be sinking soon". For some reason, I immediately thought about the city of New Orleans when I heard that song. I don't know if that is what she had in mind when she wrote it or not.

I personally am disappointed with all of her albums so far.......Like someone said earlier in this thread her record company has too much influence over what she puts out, and it shows. Her platinum plaque for Come Away With Me looks cool as hell though, my buddy has one hanging in his appt.

Ok, I just bought her latest, kinda prepared not to like it from what I've read here, but you know what? It's a damn fine piece of work, I love it.

For the sake of clarity, which one do you have in mind?

The new Norah Jones disc was used as demo for our last get together. A_mattison brought it along and I what I heard from it I really liked, even if it is similar to her other stuff.

Same here. It seems to be an album that I keep going back to. On first impression, it was pretty average but once I listened to it a few times it started to grow on me.
