My buddy asked to come over and watch the game in HD (his 1st time watching HD) and said he would bring over a pork loin. Well I figure it will be one of those little 3lb jobbies that you see wrapped up in the meat section that is already marinated, right. He drops it by this morning and it is every bit of a 20 pounder. Its as big as my dog. I've got no idea what to do with all of it. I'm guessing grilled pork, cajun baked pork loin, pork nachos, pork kabobs and for the wife..........(insert your favorite "Donny Baker" joke here).

We always try to do foods regional to the two teams playing. Chicago was easy - we've got Chicago dogs and deep dish pizza.

Indianapolis was a bit more of a challenge but we came up with deep fried pork tenderloin sandwiches and sugar cream pie for dessert.

Assorted appetizers and dips as well. Hoping for a good game!

bad, bad idea. to many homes go up in flames that way... and you'd miss the game if your house gets torched.

Good idea. We weren't going to do anything special, but nacho's is one of my specialties too.

No beer being a work night. I think the SB should be on a Saturday to maximize the party opportunities.

About 7 degrees here:eek: I'll be inside today getting the nachos going.

A little sharp provolone on Triscuts (Herb and Olive Oil). Salsa on top for a little moisture. Lime and Cherry diet cokes for me.

Can't really see how a propane torch would set your house up in flames? I guess after doing 6 years of plumbing with my dad I have enough common sense to not set the house on fire if the pipes freeze......:confused:
