RTi Improvement

Will I hear improvement if I drive a pair of RTi70 with Outlaw mono-blocks instead of my Denon 3805's internal amps? I want to tame the highs and get fuller sound. I already tried large and small settings but to no avail. These towers are complemented by an HSU-VTF2 sub for both 2 channel and 6.1 channel HT/music listening.

I demo's outlaw monoblocks along with a Parasound and ADCOM amps.

Compared to my H/K, I saw little difference with the Outlaws. Your Dennon is comparable to the H/K, although I've never hear them. i was blown away by ADCOM out of the three for the very reason that you are asking. The highs are detailed and clear, but tamed. The low end is filled in nicely. Overall the sound is much fuller with a nice imaged soundstage.

I'm actually considering either Parasound A52 or A21 (but more inclined towards A52). Might need to do more research on Adcom. Thanks for your suggestion.

Where are you from? There is a pretty good chance that you can find somebody on there that will give you a demo of some misc. equipment. That is how I keep getting so deep into this hobby.

Your ears need to be the judge. What sounds good to one, doesn't necessarily sound good to another.

You will be amazed at how the RTI70's sound in 2 channel once you hook up an amp.

There aren't many Parasound distributors in DFW (only 4). I have demoed B&K + LSi9/LSi15 in Tweeter, but not ready to pull the trigger on LSi's yet. Their RTi's were only paired with receivers in their low-end demo rooms. So I haven't really heard RTi's driven by good amps.
