Question about tube codes

I've been to a lot of tube sites in the last few days but have a couple of questions.
I've got the JAN/NOS/NIB all down but what is JW?
Also does anyone know what these codes mean or somewhere I can go to figure this out on my own? The codes are for WE 396A
Codes: 226 413 939 913 852 and lastly 7739 (I'd gather this is 1977?)
