Amp hook-up

I just picked up an Adcom 545 and would like some thoughts on how to best hook it up in my HT. I have an H/K 7300 with LSi7's and LSiC up front. My original plan was to power the 7's with the Adcom, but I was wondering if bi-amping with the 7300 is a possibility (or if would be worthwhile). My difficulty with that plan is that all of my equipment is in the back of my HT. I have speaker wall plates in the front for my speakers and in the back for my AVR. So, in order to bi-amp, I'd have to have my amp in the front with a long RCA run (about 30'). This option would also prevent me from having the amp plugged into my power center.
FYI: I got the Adcom for a price I couldn't resist...I was researching amps, but not really looking to buy. Also, I'm not going to be disappointed if I don't get improved sound. My main objective is to take a little strain off of the 7300 so that it will run cooler and hopefully live longer.
Thanks

I would just try it normal (Dont worry about bi-amping) with the 7's and then agin with the C to determine which sounds better. I am guessing the two 7's but I would try it both ways just to be sure.
Enjoy and let us know which way ended up sounding the best amped. (center or fromts).

Thanks for the advice. I didn't think about amping the C instead of the 7's, but I'll give it a try.
Follow up question...and I'm fairly certain this is ignorance on my part, but what's the best way to hook up it up to the C? Would I only use the L or R input and leave the other unused?
I have considered getting another 545 so that I could drive the front 3 seperately, but wasn't sure if that would be money well spent.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -
Yes - just use the right or left input (with the other side unused).
Wait to test it both ways to determine if another amplifier will give you the benefit that you want.

You might want to think about picking up some wire-based jumpers over the 7's or center stock metal piece. I noticed an improvement when I did that with my 7's when I had them last year and driving them with decent power.Lovin that music year after year.

Finally hooked my amp up (just got my H/K back from repairs) and I've got a problem. Now that the front speakers are hooked up to the amp, I'm getting a popping noise in the speakers when I change TV channels, pull up menus, etc. I'm assuming this is a grounding problem, but I've never encounered it before so I'm unsure of a solution. I have all of my components hooked up to a Monster HKS3500.
Please tell me there is a simple solutionThings work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -
Since you just got the HK back from repairs, have you verified that if you remove the amp. (hook the front speakers up to the HK again) that the popping noise goes away? Does it make the same noise when you hook up the amp to the center channels (or rear channels)?

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried taking the amp out of the equation and the popping went away. Likewise, when I hooked other speakers up to the amp they would pop.
After doing all of this "testing", the popping doesn't seem to be as bad now that I have it hooked back up with the amp powering the front R/L.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden
