Guys,

I am downsizing my setup. We have an 8 week old and I just can't use these to their full potential. They were painted black by the previous owner and it looks like a professional job. All drivers are in perfect working order and I do have the cable. Check out the pictures. More to pictures to come later.

I am asking $400 FIRM. Local Pickup only. I am in Holiday, FL. About 15 NW of Tampa.

They would sound great w/ your M1.0T! If you want to arrange freight pickup, I am cool w/ it. But that is up to you. :)

I think the black looks nice. . . once you go black, you never go back.

Good snag! I would've gotten these if I had my tax return. . . or lived closer, or had interest in them.

large bottom speaker is the passive. It is not flat like most of the PR's on SDA's.

Yeah, and the cabinets being screwed back together still kinda gets me. I wouldnt pay $1200 for them. Actually, not even $800. Not like that.

Yeah thats why I said read it. I'm not sure what was involved with the **** process, but I think Texas is pretty dry in the summer, but also hot. I'd take a look anyway, and push on the passive to see if the air is leaking out the cabinet. Before I did anything I would call before making a road trip.

Hot and humid. West Texas might be dry, I guess it depends on where Caldwell is at. What I do know from living in Dallas/Fort Worth (where I think Caldwell is near) is that it is plenty humid. I know Houston sucks and is damn humid. I certainly would not put speakers in a carport for more than an hour anywhere in Texas.

Someone should pretend to buy them. Then proceed to slap and sterilize him so he doesn't reproduce!

I looked up Caldwell and it's east of Austin and NW of Houston. I've already talked to the owner and, hoping my Altecs sell soon, I might just pick them up. Who knows....

Maybe you can get them cheap, and redo the whole cabinets with some nice veneer.

I thought about that. I think I can get them for around $700 or so. I was really hoping more for the TL's but these might work.

I'm going to use them as rear surrounds. I would also like to be able to push a button so the couch swings around, and listen to the 3.1s at moderate levels. I have heard the 3.1 have a more mild SDA effect than most of its counter parts. I'll see. The cabinet guy that works in the building I live in showed me some samples of refinished "wood" that has some really dark streaks in it that would match my RTA15tl's and the SDA1.3TL's nicely. I have SDA2's (the 3 woofer ones) that are in wood that I was going to redo the boxes. I really wanted to do the big ones with cherry laminate. I don't know.
    See you guys
