Are these worth it?
I can pick 2 up for 450$cad. Not sure if they would be a good match for my current outlaw mono on my centre.

Yes, that's a decent price. The Marantz monoblocks are great for the price. Better sounding than your Outlaw, IMO.

I agree the Marantz Monoblocks are amazing for the price, Ive had experience with both the 500's and 700's....Clean power!

A friend has a pair of 500s driving GR AV2s, plenty of power and warm detail for these 4 ohm speakers. The 700s should sound excellent.

I did that recently -- went from a 500 to a 700 with a center channel (AAD 2002), but didn't notice any improvement in sound. Of course, your situation may be different. If you're considering upgrading, I suggest going beyond the Marantz to an even higher quality amp(s).HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub
