F/S: Conconance CD120 CD player...

Well, after much deliberation I have to find this superb player a new home. After I took Frank Van Alstine up on his challenge to try his Ultra DAC, I was very, very impressed with it's sheer musicality. To my ears, it simply took my 2 channel system up a few more knotches. Sometimes I wish I never tried the Ultra DAC because I was thrilled with the way the CD120 sounded. You know how this hobby of ours goes, there's always something bigger, badder, & more expensive ready to invade your home. Also, after talking to Frank about transports he simply says that any decent CD/DVD player will work just fine feeding the signal into his DAC. At first I didn't believe him so I had to find out for myself. I had an older HK DVD22 in storage so I tried it as a transport along with the CD120. After a few weeks of A/B tests between the HK DVD22 & the CD120 being used as transports I could not for the life hear any difference between the two. I guess Frank was right after all. It would be a waste of a superb player to be delegated to being used as a transport when the HK will fit the bill. I'm giving my fellow Polkie's first crack at it for $600 including insured shipping to US or Canada.
