$120 local pickup

I have a pair of FX500's in white. It's been awhile since I've given them a close inspection. I seem to remember one or two small blemishes or scuffs and a grill post or two that are broken, but the grills are tight. I'll get a better look tonight. I'd going to try for a local sale first because of their condition (I'd like someone to see them firsthand, if they were in more pristine condition I'd feel more comfortable shipping them to a fellow polkie) and because I have no shipping materials on hand at all.

If someone is really interested in shipping, I can do a complete checkover and take a bunch of pictures, and find out how much shipping and packing materials might cost but like I said it's not my first choice.

It's been awhile since any have come up for sale, so I hope this sounds like a fair price for polkies.

I also have them on CL for a little more, but I'll give first priority to anyone here.

    you have a pm

I'm glad to get at least one vote that the price is right. I've gotten so many great things from the club, I was trying to give back a little.

As it hangs on the wall....

This was signed by Matt Polk at the Polk HQ gathering back in Sept 2003.

Enjoy them Tony! It was a great transaction, albeit damn cold in the parking lot where we met. Always fun to meet someone from the club!

Nahh! Tony, you're going to enjoy them. They're really sweet surrounds.

By the way, years back we had a thread going pertaining to proper mounting of them, specifically, reversing the left and right speakers. Per the Polk manual, you mounted them with the woofer and tweeter side facing toward the front of the room (side wall mounted). Our discussion was about mounting them opposite with the woofer/tweeter side facing the back of the room (still side wall mounted). Alot of us, me included, liked the sound better. It has better "behind you" sound than the other way.

Play around and do your own testing. You might like it.
