I stopped by a local HT shop at lunch today and happened on a set of LSi9 speakers. Guy said they are normally $1000 and these were showroom demo pair. I listened to them (unfortunately after some MartinLogan XStats) and really enjoyed the fullness. I asked how much and he said $600. Sounds really good to me. They look brand new. Has anyone run across a better deal than this recently?

I got my floormodel LSi9's for 550.00 and it had a few small cosmetic issues, so 600.00 aint that bad at all for a floormodel with warranty.

cant go wrong at that price, if you liked them, snag em.

if you sell them used, you will lose 50-100 at the absolute worst. far better than buying them at full retail.

600 is a pretty damn good price with warranty.

I just purchased Polk LSi9's new for 700(shipped no tax) no Manf. warranty from http://www.acousticsounddesign.com/.
The speakers are grey market, but they do offer their own warranty, they have been around since 2001.

Just an option, but manf warranty would be nice to have...

That's a very good deal, especially with full factory warranty. Jump on it that's about 1/2 off retail plus, no shipping hassels. If you are in the market for Lsi's it's a no brainer :)

Take them and run. $600 (plus tax) is a steal. They are already broken in, plus, since they are from a dealer you get the full warranty.

Should have no buyer's remorse at that price.
