i have front firing NHT SubOne that I'm not really satisfy with @ certain seating area of the room. Are floor firing subs better for tile floors?

There are a lot of blind spots around the room where I it's lacking bass. I was hoping for an evenly distributed sound throughout a small room. Roughly 15x15. The box is sitting @ the rear corner of the room.Sammy UN55C6400

Sounds like you have standing wave issues. A square room is almost the worst acoustic environment. You might look into bass traps in the sub section.
I had a Velo that was front firing and my VMPS is front fire no probs. From the bottom it looks like a steep incline, From the top another down hill slope of mine. But I know the equilibrium's there! .."Faith No More"

It is a culmination of materials and design to "soak up low,mid or high freq's.
A basic understanding of what happens: a "wave" is moved forward bounces off a wall and meets another wave and they cancel each other out. From the bottom it looks like a steep incline, From the top another down hill slope of mine. But I know the equilibrium's there! .."Faith No More"

Or go to forums. go to DIY and search bass traps. From the bottom it looks like a steep incline, From the top another down hill slope of mine. But I know the equilibrium's there! .."Faith No More"

This action will result in a loss of bass freq's. A bass trap will absorb the low freq. and you will get a better sound. Most traps are made up of fiberglass. From the bottom it looks like a steep incline, From the top another down hill slope of mine. But I know the equilibrium's there! .."Faith No More"

If you are going to be in the same room. A bigger or better sub won't help!
Spend the money on room treatments and you will be better served.
A good sub in a better room is better than a great sub in a bad room! REALLY!
It would not take much! At least consider it. From the bottom it looks like a steep incline, From the top another down hill slope of mine. But I know the equilibrium's there! .."Faith No More"

my SubOne is giving up on me slowly. It creates this annoying hum with our without signal. I have to throw them out either way.... Also I don't want to fix any structure of the house improve the subs. Significant other is gonna kill me.Sammy UN55C6400

Don't give up yet! That hum might be ground loop. It is fixable.
The bass traps are not a construction effort. (the can be if you want)
Your wife could pick out fabric for the covers. It's a win win.

I've moved the sub to another room total away from ANY thing that cause the ground noise but still there. The amp may have water damage cause my dump house/babysitter be cleaning my floors and shoving the damn mop all over my grill I can see obvious water damage in the front of the cloth.Sammy UN55C6400
