The demo is now up on XBL for download...I wasn't expecting much, but it was actually pretty fun. Nice spin on the tired GTA formula...getting your character powered up to do super-leaps was a hoot. I can't say I'm going to buy it (too much other stuff coming out), but I'll play the demo some more, thats for sure.

hmm..I'm hearing a lot of hype about this one..
I'll have to try the demo..Pioneer Elite VSX-53, Polk RT800i fronts, Polk CS400i center, FX500i surround, Velodyne sub -
So...what's it about?

You are some sort of 'super cop' who has to clean up the city...its open-world/sandbox style ala GTA and Saints Row, but you are a 'good guy'. Plus you are (chemically?) enhanced, and can power up your abilities...Matrix-style super jumps and whatnot. Not earthshattering, but fun enough. Has co-op play too. You can also pick up lots of objects, even dead bodies, and toss them around. Or blow someone into the air with a grenade and then shoot them again before they hit the ground...cool physics. Nice cel-shaded graphics too. Worth a download, for sure.

Downloaded the demo last night, and I don't like this game at all. It's a poor man's Saints Row/GTA, IMO.

Ya know, I thought this game was almost really, really cool. The building up skills/stats angle should have added a really interesting dynamic. I played for an hour or last night and wasnt impressed, but i wasnt turned-off either. I'll play it a little bit more before i come to a final conclusion. At least they tried to add something to GTA formula rather than just regurgitating the same game...

Ok, I just put in another hour of playtime (it wont let you save your character and you only get an hour at a time, which is really lame). I've decided i like it. And i read a preview from IGN that stated it has a really cool Co-Op mode too. I'm probably sold. Building up your agility and gradually being able to jump higher and higher, leaping from roof top to roof top in a large urban sprawl is too cool =P

I like it. By the time I started understanding the acrobatics, the demo was over. I like the character building, plus it does everything GTA does.
