I am looking at powering my KEF Q70s which are bi-ampable and say 175 watts (I think) on the back of them. I have two amps; a HK PM665 which is 100 wpc at 0.08%THD at 8 ohms and a Audiometric AM441 which is 225 wpc at 0.06%THD at 8 ohms. The HK is a 2 channel amp, but with A/B outputs so I could bi-wire them. The Audiometric is only two channel. Which do you think would be better?

Hi Zingo,
I would bi-wire and try both amps 1 at a time. Do not worry about power ratings and distortion levels. Amps have dirrerent signiture sounds that cannot be realized on paper. One amp may have better synergy with your Kefs. Give them both a shot and see which one you prefer.

Looking over your post, I would go with a C over the incumbent S in the future for DECIDE.
