No Sound From Surround Speakers

I just got a Pioneer 816 riecever and monitor 50's for front and R15's for surround. The pioneer 816 has a automatic setup with a mic that it uses to determine everything for your speakers, so I used that to set up my system. But when I plugged in my Xbox 360 and turned on the game I got no sound from the 2 R15's, all I got was sound from the monitor 50's. If anyone knows why this is please let me know Thank you

No it doesn't work for anything. I tried DVD, Games, and Ipod

try a manual setup in the receiver settings. if that doesnt work, power the AVR down, read ya manual and reset everything to default. If the unit is new and still doesnt work, try a return for another.

Is there a listening channel button on the remote or main unit. My VSX-47TX has it. I can select 5.1, 7.1 or Auto. If 5.1 is selcted, the rear surrounds will not play.

The Pioneer should have a speaker setup selection make sure the rear speakers are to on and set to small.
