I want some too!!! But if one more thing comes in that door, I will loose the family jewels, I think even if I prove to her that it was a gift. Ya know what, I believe her and I'm not taking any chances.

I also have some SC risers, great price as you can't really argue too much with it. I didn't notice a difference in SQ but wasn't expecting anything either.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

That's the problem. If you had been expecting a difference, you would have heard it! :p

I'm sure there are even more ways to be cheap but I bet you don't skimp on that Mustang.

I don't count those dollars, if I did, I'm sure I would vomit and go to the fetal position.

    What a coincidence Pthug...

you described my exact position and state at this very moment.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Tell her there was "an error in the billing department" and you've already spoken to the "head of (insert impressive title)" to resolve the issue.

Then offer to watch a chick-flick of her choosing (Prince of Tides, Fried Green Tomatoes, Beaches, etc.)....

Then for then next two excruciating and agonizing hours, desperately try to find your "happy place" and keep reminding yourself it will all be over soon.
