Kenwood xxv-04s ($1000 retail) thoughts?????

I was going through Crutchfield when I came across these speakers by Kenwood xxv-04s that claim a $1000 retail for $750 off, making them $250. I am thinking about Buying them for the heck of it. I have never liked Kenwood products but figured they should be worth atlest $250. They seem to be weak in the RMS and peak field considering the depth of the woofer and size of the Crossover but hell that dont say Chit. They have a 3 1/16 depth that I can make work on my Tahoe to replace the Perfect 6.1's then if I am not happy I will get the Polk sr6500 for this truck to.

I would like some Feedback if anyone has listened to these and what the thoughts where.

    I have not heard them, but for that price I would give them a shot for the heck of it. If you end up not liking them, you can give them a call to return them (within 30 days). Crutchfield has great customer service.

    I don't think Crutchfield inflates prices, they just sell their gear close to MSRP.

    they look pretty good for the price. listen to them first though.

    I have some Polk SR components that I can get for you. They regularly sell for $10,000 but on sale for $750. Talk about a deal!







    It's only a deal when the original number is truth. Kenwood = **** speakers.
    Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

    Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.

    Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener.
