Line Conditioning

I bought a multi-meter today for another project and just for kicks I thought I would test the outlet on the front of my Panamax M5100-EX and it read 123.
So I thought would try an outlet (originally for my sub) that is also fed by the same circuit as the power conditioner is plugged into and it read 123 again.
Next outlet, different circuit and original wiring in the house (built in 1948) and it read 120.
So I guess my power conditioner is not conditioning the power?
Any thoughts?

I think the term "conditioning" is more in relation to it removing AC noise, etc from the line before it gets to the components. It's more "stabilizing" when it keeps everything at 120V or so. Some of the high dollar (read expensive) units out there can maintain 120V when it dips below in the line. Guys? AM I correct in saying that?Richard? Who's your favorite Little Rascal? Alfalfa? Or is it........................Spanky?.................................Sinner.

I guess it protects the equipment if the voltage drops to low or goes to high, because the manual says it will cut the power to the equipment if the voltage goes above or below a certain value, and will resume power when it returns to the safe value again.I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D
