The in wall stuff, redoing my porch with outside speakers with BlueJean wire ok to tinned the ends? Would this kill the sound of the wires? I think it would prevent some oxidation of the ends so is this a plus or a bad idea?

Ok so tinning is good, would you tin all class 2 wiring outside? Class 2 anything under 50v. My question is on phone line or cat 5 cable.

I wouldn't bother tinning phone/cat 5 but some dielectric grease is always a nice touch to insure contact if you don't mind a little mess.

I use tinning on multi strand wire since the oxidation can work its way into the cable, and tinning tends to reduce stray strands from shorting out.
