    I wonder what the round was...

    I thought I remember reading online a while back that the Iraqi insurgent sniper rifle of choice was the older SVD's thus meaning that round could have been and probably was a 7.62mm.

    most of our military humvees and jeeps have that kind of glass protection now do they not?

    It's proven to be worth it by just seeing that video alone.

    Yeah, but how many times will it stop that round? Looks like if it were shot again, it'd fall apart.

    Doubtful. I'm sure it's shatterproof just like the glass in your car. Doesn't mean a bullet won't penetrate it if it's hit enough times or if it's jacketed (AP), but not before the FPS was extremely slowed. No doubt it could still kill you.
