Anyone heard of SpyderTV?

I am looking to calibrate my display on my Panasonic Rear projection television. I have used the AVIA disk and something is still off in my opinion. I was researching and came across this:

Anybody have any experience with this or have any other suggestions to improve the picture?

Thanks,
Shawn

What do you think is off? Remember, even after calibrating you're going to want to do some fine tuning; especially with color.

I've never tried it but I have read very good reviews on it's performance.
Here's one link, google for others.

I can't really pinpoint one thing that was off. After calibration with the AVIA disc, I found some scenes too red, others seemed washed out, and others seemed too dark. I amy just get a pro out here to calibrate, but thought I could do it by myself with the SpyderTV if anyone has heard of it or had good results with it.

I'm probably going to get the SpyderTV pro within the next couple of months. After I get it, I'll do a short review of it. It was basically develped to do about 80-90% of what an actual ISF calibration would do, being basically designed by the people that do ISF's regularly.

I bought the Spyder TV a week after I purchased my plsama TV a few months ago and could not be happier about the outcome. The picture before calibration was nice but afterwards was unreal. The colors look perfect as well as the deep blacks. Probably one of the best investments I have ever made.
