Well kinda... I stumbled upon this site which had images of this man's music room which looks like pure heaven. I wanted to share this with you all, although you might have already seen it. Also, can anyone name the gear he is using?

Good grief! There are a few dollars in that room.
BTW, did you notice that there is a glaring lack of a mini-jack for plugging in an iPod?

So you finally got it finished, eh?
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I bet he ports overcooked 64k sample rate mp3s via a wireless into that setup but won't admit it... ;)

That is one way-up uber-sick setup; some of those wires look like black garden hoses. Whould someone please explain the small wires on the insulators? (7th pic up from the bottom)

I was wondering that, too. They're somehow part of the speaker cables...but whoa, momma....they're huge...

By seeing what this guy/girl has in this system, what do you think the total price of this entire set-up was?? I looked up the speakers, and they were 60 g's alone!!!

I found this in his components section:

Jena Labs Fundamental One power cord ($$1850 each)
this power cord includes an in-line conditioner in each cord. it is especially good at preventing 'digital hash' from back filling into the power grid from components. the system uses 7 of these power cords.

Man, I hate digital hash.

Edit: I found another listing of his equipment with descriptions -- and those pod doofers are speaker cables

I went through the listing and came up with $311,990

Edit: and that just the equipment, no mention of the construction.

DAMN!!! I could only imagine.. I did buy 10 Powerball tickets today.. If I win 100 mill, I will buy everyone that has responded to my posts a set of SRT's!! If that was possible anyways... Maybe we could get Mr. Polk to manufacture about 100 new sets!!

Those are Dartzeel 50 ohm ICs.
