Question about RT600 (not 600i)

What's the difference between RT600 (~1998) and RT600i (~2000)?

The Rt600 is not listed in Polk site.

Do they have similar construction and units?

    I think the 600i was just the "new" version of the 600. They do have different drivers and maybe tweeters (not sure). The 600i has the blue drivers, the 600 has black (don't know the model of drivers but I'm sure someone here knows). The 600i has a 2-piece full-height grill, the 600 has a one-piece 2/3 grill with gray "carpet/fabric" covering the fronts. As far as I know, the specs are the same for both.

    I am currently using the 600 and went through the same questions myself and this is all I have tracked down so far. Are you interested due to thinking of purchasing one or the other model?

    A friend of mine got a good deal on it.

    I am just curious about them since I can not find info on Polk site.

    I've been very pleased with my 600s.

    just out of curiosity...what kind of deal did your friend find on the 600s?

    he got a pair of rt600 and a cs225 for...$75
