Ted nails it!

Ted Nugent, the deer hunter, rock star, card-carrying NRA supporter,
and avid bow-hunter was being interviewed by a French journalist and
the discussion came around to deer hunting.

The journalist asked, "What do you think is the last thought in the
head of a deer before you shoot him?" Is it, "Are you my friend," or is
it "Are you the one who killed my brother?"

Nugent replied, "Deer aren't capable of that kind of thinking." All
they care about is, "What am I going to eat next, who am I going to
have sex with next, and can I run fast enough to get away." "They are
very much like the French."

For all of you nay-sayers......go find another parade to rain on....

    that's funny.

I'm a fan of Nugent, especially after he and his wife went on The Big Idea with Donnie Deutsch. Extremely intelligent, well-spoken guy.

I'm also a fan of Ted Nugent. All the animal activist tree huggin hippies are always on his **** about hunting. Apparently, most of what he kills, him and his family eats. His archery company does some serious business. He designs bows and other hunting equipment too.

"Ya can't grill it till ya kill it!"

    One of his classic lines.
    No excuses!

Funny, indeed... I loved the episode where the three remaining contestants had to vote somebody off. Two of 'em ganged up on one and told Ted of their decision. At which point, Ted overrides their decision and tosses one of the two. "Life's a ****, ain't it?" I think was the gist of his explanantion:D
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I usually scare all the deer away when I head out to my tree stand and I have "Fred Bear" cranked up in the truck as I drive into the timber! It's good to have a little nap time until I have to get serious about sticking a pointy stick in one of them.

I used to like Ted alot, but after hearing his banter on Fox about how smokers should be denied healthcare, I have nothing for the idiot. Talk about hypocrisy---it's ok that he was a dope smoking, coke tootin drunk--he's straight now, but us smokers are low lifes that don't deserve healthcare...

2 thumbs down Ted, for thinking you're just a little bit better than everyone else.

Yeah, because you're forced to smoke.

I smoke cigars and grits over drinks from time to time, and don't think it's a low life thing to do. That said, smoking is stupid, and legal.
