    What HT said.

Out of the things you ahd listed :
    - Banana plugs - really just add convenience if you unplug things a lot
    - upconverting DVD player - will probably get you the most noticable difference in your system, assuming you don't already have one, and that have an HDTV
    - Power conditioner - don't know enough about these to comment
    - Harmony - people seem to love em, I personally don't mind having six remotes.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I love my Harmony (H659) basic model but it really beats having a coffee table covered in OEM units.

I hit other because nothing you listed seemed worth $100. CDs & Movies. Don't buy a "Cheep Power Conditioner" you are just spending your money on a glorified power strip IMO.

I think the Harmony would be the only thing that you would really appreciate that's worth it close to that price range. Other than that, get some DVDs and CDs.
