Guys, in my quest for the right theater speakers, I bought several pairs of RTi28's. One set arrived looking like this! Is there any saving them?

Take the baffles off - the tweeters snap in.

From the pics they dont look broke... the tweeters, seriously snap into place... looks like they took a hard hit though in transit... jarred them loose.

Both tweeter domes are dented, I think the seller is refunding my money in full. Keep my fingers crossed!

Try to get your money back, that's not cool at all...
Ya, the tweeters do snap easily back into place by removing the entire front plastic baffle. However, I would be wary of a hit that was hard enough to knock them out.(And it doesn't surprise me the tweeters are dented.) You might be able to order new tweets from Polk, or used ones from the community, but make sure to check the wiring. Having those tweeters just flopping around might have jarred wiring in the cross-over. Or if you are like me, you could just pull the good drivers, and play around with them building yourself a new speaker or something fun like that. The other option, that is very sad, but last effort, is parting them out to other people in a similar situation. Hope it all works out.
