    the drives have a made date in 2003 ish olny looked at two of them i get replacements for the other 2 on friday.
    they have a 8 meg buffer
    they are in great shape

    there is nothing wrong with them i just pulled 2 out of my system and the other 2 were from last drive i replaced. i can olny have 6 hard drives in my case at a time so i am upgradeing to 500 gig hd.

    all hard drives are spoken for and 1 is shiped out. i will have 2 more 120 gig hd being retired some time in q1 of this year. dude has first dibs on them if he still wants one them.

    how long do you think it will be? I really need a hard drive. I have an 80 gig that crashed almost a year a go, an 80 gig with vista on it that is fading fast. I also have a 10 gig with xp on it that can hold no more.(dual boot machine) and 2 4 gig drives that are worth less. I'm really looking into just getting a new one and being done with it. I just thought this would have been the best route to go as it came up at the perfect time. So if you could give me a time frame, so I can let you know what I am going to do.

    Got my hard drive today and it is now installed. It is working great and is exactly what I needed. (drive for a swap location and backup of pictures.)
