Rti6 and Rti8 together stereo?
A friend mine suggest me about work with a Rti6 on Rti8 (one up the other) with a same wire to the left front channel and other Rti6 together other Rti8 to the right front channel. Is a bi-wired but with two speakers left ant two speakers right. Is that intelligent? That is very tall but is cool to see. Can that damage my speakers?
Tell me.
Tell me.

it's called stacking speakers.. and i wouldn't do it.. to much room for problems to develop.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?
Vancouver, Canada Sept 30th, 2012 - Madonna concert  -

If you are dead set on doing this, make sure that you wire them in series. Or, make sure that you amplifier/receiver can handle such a drop in the load. I would be more worried about destroying the amp/receiver before the speakers.. Not saying it would be good on the speakers either, but rather just much more of a chance of a problem with the amp/receiver.

If Polk had wanted the speakers stacked they would have built them that way! Do you want good sound or just have something that looks cool & probably sounds like crap?Marantz AV-7705 PrePro, Classé 5 channel 200wpc Amp, Oppo 103 BluRay, Rotel RCD-1072 CDP, Sony XBR-49X800E TV, Polk S60 Main Speakers, Polk ES30 Center Channel, Polk S15 Surround Speakers SVS SB12-NSD x2

Both of your speakers are 8ohms. If your receiver can run a 4ohm load you can wire them to the A and B speaker terminals. If you don't have A+B terminals you can wire them parallel. If you wired them in series you would be presenting a 16 ohm load which is fine but kills the power output. Try it and see if you like it. My general feeling is that you "may" end up with bad sound staging with that setup. Just make sure your amp can handle 4 ohm loads. My Yamaha has a setting that needs to be adjusted for 4 ohm loads.
Good luck
